PLATEFORM TO APPLY.
A 3-Step process
Earthtalent By Bolloré has set up a methodology for selecting and monitoring projects which has been proven over 10 years.
Our selection criteria
Earthtalent by Bolloré selects projects according to precise criteria of impact, transparency and sustainability to ensure the quality of each file. These different criteria guarantee the relevance of actions to be consistent with the Group philanthropy policy.
Your project will be considered if :
– It is led by a non-profit, apolitical and non-religious structure meeting the criteria of the general interest eligible for corporate philanthropy ((local non-profit organizations, non-governmental organizations, international organizations, community organizations, social enterprises, national or regional funds)
– It takes place in one of the countries in which the Group operates
– It supports youth through initiatives providing:
- access to financial resources
- education for youth
- lempowerment of youth
- youth entrepreneurship
– It supports exceptional initiatives related to local health and social emergencies: pandemics, natural disaster…
– It is a project that is consistent with the Group’s philanthropy policy and that meets the criteria of transparency and sustainability.
Projects will not be considered :
– All one-off projects (excluding humanitarian emergencies) that do not involve a partnership approach and do not allow a sustainable benefit to be delivered to the relevant communities (such as short-term assignments without a focus on sustainability, individual projects, the financing of specific events that are unrelated to programs supported by the Group).
– Any sport-related initiatives that are not related to supporting youth or humanitarian healthcare.
– Projects that take place in a country where the Group is not located.
– Individual, temporary projects or events (galas, award ceremonies, solidarity runs…)
– Any initiative of a sectarian nature that is not in accordance with the Group’s values, its code of Ethics or is in conflict with the Group’s interest.
Monitoring and support throughout the project
During the implementation of projects by our partner associations, we are committed to engaging all stakeholders in a logic of co-construction.
We support all projects by relying on volunteer collaborators who, as local ambassadors, promote these projects.
We therefore train our local ambassadors so that they can develop their skills in monitoring societal projects so that they can offer a better support to these associations.
Together with our local collaborators, the Earthtalent By Bolloré team carries out the operational monitoring of the project remotely, or on the ground when it is possible. Because we are convinced that “doing together”, the sharing of ideas and expertise allow us to better respond to the societal challenges in which the projects we support fit. In this logic, we involve not only our ambassadors and our local management but also our employees who are committed by giving their time and offering their skills. Project monitoring also involves supporting those who wish to get involved with local actors who act in the heart of their territory, in an approach that makes sense.
A logic of positive and lasting impact
Making our actions in a long-term in order to guarantee their sustainability and their positive impact on local communities is one of our priorities.
Therefore, we support our partner associations in measuring the effectiveness and transparency of their actions in the field by providing them with impact measurement tools.
Each year and in collaboration with our local teams, we ask our project leaders to carry out detailed reporting of their actions so that the positive impact of our commitments is measurable, tangible and lasting for the beneficiaries of the projects and therefore for local communities.
This impact measurement approach makes it possible to effectively adjust our actions and to perpetuate our support for projects impacting on the ground.
