In a tense economic situation, Bolloré Transport & Logistics Mozambique is supporting a project enabling local youth to improve their socio-economic situation.

The beneficiaries are young people aged between 17 and 35 and live in the heart of the cities of Beira and Maputo. This partnership with Essor*, selected through the Earthtalent by Bolloré program, was signed in December 2019 by BTL Mozambique for a period of 3 years.

Thus, it is part of a sustainable support strategy for more than 1,000 young people per year, who are unemployed or in precarious employment, who will be able to access vocational training that combines interpersonal skills (“human training”, according to ESSOR) and entrepreneurship.

In the span of 3 months, it is already a success: 838 young people, 45% of whom are women, have had access to this training, motivating them

« I took part in the human training for 2 months during which I faced great challenges and discovered many opportunities to learn how to manage my life. Considering these opportunities allowed me to strengthen my capacity to be someone and to do something for my family and me. »
