Mrs. Laurence Marion, Executive Director of the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris, Mrs. Sabrina Guichard, Resident at the Maison des élèves ingénieurs Arts et Métiers and Delegate of the class of 2021 scholarship holders and Mrs. Van der Cruyssen, Director of Solidarity Commitment and Corporate Philanthropy of the Bolloré Group spoke at this meeting between mentors and 2021 scholarship holders.

The program has existed since 2011 and allows deserving residents in financial difficulty to pursue their studies in the best conditions in France. This year, 88 Cité Internationale residents benefited from scholarships financed by sponsors or individual donors.

These scholarships allow students to benefit from the support of committed staff members as mentors and to cover their rent. The scholarships are awarded on the basis of merit and student involvement, and for some of them on the basis of precariousness.

The Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris program allows scholarship students to be accompanied by their mentors throughout the year and to receive human support from committed employees.

Since its launch, the program has helped nearly 600 residents.

The Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris has chosen the Bolloré Group as this year’s honorary sponsor. Mrs. Van der Cruyssen spoke to thank the teams and remind them of the excellence of the course but also the precariousness of the students in these difficult times.

“Today our flagship societal commitment is to support a youth that we listen to, and who wish to commit to build projects and a more responsible and conscious future.”

Dorothée Van der Cruyssen, Director of Solidarity Commitment and Corporate Philanthropy of the Bolloré Group.

A partner since 2019 of the Bolloré Group, the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris is a must for French and international students.
