Mobilized on International Women’s Day, railwaywomen of Camrail donated school furniture – worth 2 million CFA francs – to Bojongo Public School, located in the suburbs of Douala (Cameroon).

They provided chairs, tables, desks and armchairs to renew the school’s furniture. This establishment, created more than 50 years ago, was suffering from obsolescence despite the support of public authorities and the efforts of parent groups.

This material support from the Camrail employees, is in keeping with Bolloré sponsorship policy, which promotes youth and education.

Teachers and students from Bojongo School came together to applaud this initiative. It has improved the working conditions of children and their teachers. Hopefully, it will have a positive impact on their educational outcomes.
